SLEIPNIR was the name I chose for the gorgeous little octo-chick I had the privilege of preserving in 2020. It was also the subject of a series of videos I created which documented the preservation and preparation route I followed. This unique specimen seems to be the result of an incomplete twinning in embryo, and as such it had developed an additional pair of both legs and wings.
I’ve had the photograph of this incredible specimen printed out onto a 1000 piece puzzle, which when completed is 48cm x 68cm (or 18.9” x 26.8”).

It was quite a challenging puzzle, and so for anyone who needs help completing this I’ve included a couple of photos that show the details in the corners as a bit of a potential shortcut.
