This listing is for a globe base ONLY - so if you have a globe without a base, this one is for you.
The available bases are for the 45mm 65mm and 80mm diameter globes, so please triple check the diameter of your globe (at the widest part) before placing an order. Alternatively you can check the width of the lower part of the globe, accounting for the wider part that holds the rubber stopper in place. As long as the base opening is a little larger you’ll be good!

45mm diameter globe - base opening is approx 28mm
65mm diameter globe - base opening is approx 44mm
80mm diameter globe - base opening is approx 52mm

As for securing the globe in place, I like to use hot glue as its easy to clean up and can be removed if needed. I’ll usually add a few big squeezes at 3 to 4 points around the inside of the base, and insert the globe ensuring that theres at least a few points of contact between the glass and the hot glue. More will be needed with the 80mm globes as there is a little more internal tolerance in this size.
